In der Fortsetzung von Fantastic Four bleibt alles beim Alten. So wird diese Bernd Eichinger Produktion erneut von Tim Story (New York Taxi) in Szene gesetzt und die Hauptrollen mit Jessica Alba (Sin City), Chris Evans (Sunshine), Michael Chiklis (The Shield) und Ioan Gruffudd (King Arthur) besetzt. Ausgangspunkt der Bedrohung ist diesmal die animierte Figur Silver Surfer, dessen Synchronisation von Laurence Fishburne (Mission: Impossible III) übernommen wurde.
